“As a very anxious and nervous patient, I was extremely understood and empathetically spoken to and treated.

All of the staff in the Cath Lab were absolutely incredible.

I was spoken to like a person rather than just another patient.I was cared for as I believe they would like to be cared for.

I was made to feel very relaxed.

I cannot say thank you enough to all the staff that didn’t try to dismiss my feelings, yet encouraged it and therefore made me feel calmer.

A really big #ThankYouThursday goes to staff from B&Q Lincoln who volunteered on Hillside garden this week. It was work they did painting the therapeutic garden fence and laying slabs in the compound, & B&Q also donated key stocks, plants paints and a storage container. Thank you so much!

“I would like to express my thanks to all the people on Loddon ward who helped care for my husband at the end of his life.

Things had been hard for him at the beginning of the year as Alzheimer’s stole his independence and his dignity, so I was grateful to see him treated with such kindness and respect on the ward.

The same kindness was shown to me for which I’m grateful, and appreciated feeling a degree of control of events in accordance with his wishes.

The decision to stop treatment had been made by my sons and I was grateful to be offered a side ward so that we could be together as a family as his life ended. This made such a difference and the experience became a little easier as a result.

I will always remember your kindness and care and feel gratitude that his life ended in such a way.”

“Please pass along my heartfelt thanks to all the staff at the clinic today following my contrast MRI scan.

Everyone was incredibly professional and accommodating.

Special thanks to Elle for fitting in my X-ray early to save me a trip back on Thursday, the receptionist for helping fill out my forms when I forgot my glasses, and the staff in the MRI room whose compassionate care made all the difference when I felt dizzy afterwards.

I couldn't be more pleased with the treatment I received.”
