Lancashirrrrre! I liked how many times he shouted "cow manure!" at the camera! Lovely.

Interesting idea for pure wood chip decomposition using aeration tubes and then worm inoculation. We get free wood chip at our site that I nab some of for mulching but then next time we get a big load dumped I might try that. #GardenersWorld

Lovely to see how gardening brings unlikely people together #gardenersworld

The old chap reminds me of Fred Dibnah. Got a similar voice and cheeky grin. #GardenersWorld

Anybody else crying happy, emotional tears at these two on the allotment? This is how life should be.

Isn’t this just wonderful? #GardenersWorld #Allotments

#GardenersWorld one of the few places on TV where a middle-aged man can turn to the camera and shout "COW MANURE!"

Silly me thought the allotment special would be about how to grow veg , how to set up the plot, crop rotation. #gardenersworld. Why is it always like this

I've got two lads (year 9 & year 11) starting here on sunday to help me with the garden & allotment. An allotment is hard work, add a garden, and it's impossible to maintain both. I've decided to employ some keen youngsters to pass on some growing skills.

I like this social and community focused #allotment site on #GardenersWorld. I do a bit of community growing so I can see the attraction.

I do still like to have a few hours of "bum in the air" by myself on my own plot though!

Restoring a community polytunnel can't be innovative. But it's certainly a wise thing to do!

Thoroughly enjoyed the penultimate #Beechgrove of 2026...now for #gardenersworld and some mint and ginger tea.

An allotment special is a nice idea. #GardenersWorld

She does woodworking too! I used to like when Toby Buckland did garden builds so its good to see Frances following suit, especially a wildlife friendly build. #GardenersWorld

Time for #GardenersWorld. Glass of juice by my side and feet up ready!

#GardenersWorld tonight?
Anyone?

Primula vialii, did well in spring then completely died off through the summer heatwaves. I've since planted them in the front garden where they are now growing quite vigorously despite being total slug-bait 🌱
