My Titanopsis and ammonites bowl garden now and 2 years ago. Haven't they grown? It hasn't had any flowers yet this autumn but it should start flowering anytime now. #titanopsis #succulents #mesembs #plantsky #fossils

Hot take: Sometimes Sedum/Hylotelephium is more attractive in bud than in bloom.

Willing to bet that bees firmly disagree, however.

You normally dress these things with moss and such, but I'm not sure that would work for a plant that needs to dry out a bit between watering, so I've added some goldenmoss stonecrop which should grow to cover any bare soil 🌱🌵🪴

First flowers for the mystery aloe that I planted as a cutting. Loving the colors. Flowers can be a great clue to ID succulents, but this one remains a mystery. Aloes are hard since there are so many hybrids out there. This one may be hybrid created by a private grower.🌱

This guy is so funny to me for some reason. I had thought he was dying and suddenly a fourth tower grew.

Fun Fact: My parents got me this as a gift for when I published Blanc LaBelle and the Troll’s Daughter. I named it (because I name all my plants) Mira, after the book character. Since then, Mira has joined me at every event. #plants #authorhobbies #succulents #writerpets?

Our pond sprung a leak years ago so the only water feature I've had in the garden this year is the mini river in my Winnie The Pooh bowl. I'm thinking up succulent garden ideas for next year and I like the idea of one with a mini lake rather than a piddly little stream. #GardensHour #succulents
