Another old shelf queen the Tamiya Quad is also finished. I had to make some windscreens from a humus pot lid, but i think I got away with it.

The desert pink 30-cwt Chevy by Tamiya in 1/35 is finally finished (ignore the missing steering wheel). I'm fairly happy with it in the end.

The Meng AuF1 SP gun is on the kitchen island. The hull has been fiddly here and there, but the real swearing is reserved for the gun house. Laters! Right now my son and I are off to enjoy Southend v Fylde. Proper football in the autumn sunshine. #histscalemodels

Progress was achieved.

I ran into problem of spraying top layer of sea grey too thinned. "Lapse of judgement" when thinning it (+ new thinner) and it seeped under masking tape at various places.
I covered the leaks but it resulted in some uneaven surfaces.

FB🤯, hoping for a nod or two & some future advice perhaps.
Cue (🇺🇸) long diatribe about Tamiya's Churchill - Korean not WW2, turret all is wrong, trailer wheels wrong & then how HE fixed all that. (Mine is 90% complete).🤷🏻‍♂️🙄

There is an update on the build. To get to this has done my head in. I class myself as a capable builder, I study instructions and often see where they are wrong....this kit has been awful. To ensure correct alignment you basically have to do the entire top section in one. I built #histscalemodels

I’m about 92% complete now on the 1/72 scale Eduard F6F-3 Hellcat. Tonight I prepared the propeller and am working on the external fuel tank. The drop tank came without a proper seam, so I stretched sprue and gently glued it down. #histscalemodels #scalemodels

I added gondolas and put whole plane in satin, sanded and rebuffed the wing decals, added resin as lights and stretched clear sprue position light. One 3d printed cannon gondola is warped 🤯 and decals misprint killed the mojo. I'm about done. I don't have skill for more #histscalemodels #ItaliaGB
