Day 3: Glyph
New class: Glyph Carver (still workshopping the name). A magic user who carves glyphs into the ground (or whatever is available) to cast spells. On mobile today and have stuff going on so can’t do a full write up. #MÖRKTOBER #MÖRKBORG #OSR

A painting that shows a black Ö in blackletter font. The background is geometrical forms in pink/magenta, black, and different shades of yellow.

Just like the others, @knavesquill.bsky.social wrote the text and mechanics!

I'm quite fond of the drool on this one.

A digital drawing, done entirely in black on a white canvas, of a hand holding a smooth disk of dark stone that gleams in the light. A carving of a baby's face adorns the stone, and from its pouting mouth, a thin trail of blood pours down, onto the hand holding it. Smaller runes have been carved into the edge of the stone.
The text reads:
3. Glyph
A crooked carved symbol on a hand-sized disc of black rock. It radiates hunger. It pleads in the voice of the character’s mother while holding it. It begs for suckling.
Test Presence or press the glyph to a bare nipple, and have d2 HP drained through the contact spot. For the rest of the day, gain d2 Omens.

Rumors have been spreading on the NET that after driving on the newly reopened motorway under Gravelstead Peak in Oak Isles, some drivers have seen their Cybertech© slowly and painfully turn into a bony equivalent.

Your cybertech© can't be hacked, or suffer interference anymore

Your new "bones" start huming in the rhythm of The HERMIT AI

MÖRKTOBER 02 - CURSE #mörkborg #mörktober #curse #ttrpg #ttrpgart

The headline reads: "Can you help my boy? He's afflicted by a strange and terrible CURSE" CURSE is blown up large and extra gritty. The entire page is dirty and flecked with xerox-like grunge. The boy in question is a woodcut of a child that is simply a head with too arms attached. It has a cold, emotionless stare. The bottom caption reads: "If ignored, stranger returns the next day, but cursed children have doubled."

#inktober2026 #describedart #gore (just a little) #ttrpgs #mörkborg #artsky

A digital drawing, entirely black and white, of a crudely carved monolith, standing at an angle. Several stones lie around it, covered in bits of flesh and gore. A small knife sits in the monolith's shadow. Carved into the side of the tall stone is a pouting face.
The text reads:
2. Curse
A profane monolith of sickly yellow crystal. Runes on it demand an offering of flesh be left or a misery will graft itself to you. Rotten patches of skin, fingers and umbilical cords litter the ground at its base.
If a player character does not carve off a piece of themself, they no longer can recover HP for d6 days.

Photo of a piece of artwork. It's a rectangular white cardboard with black ink words that read: "may the tyrants choke on their own feces for all eternity". The letters are irregular and squiggly, some letters being upper case, others lower case, some letters are reversed. It's a bit like a graffiti on a wall. Around the words there are small drawings in black, yellow and magenta color (a knife, a skull, a pentagram, a pig's face, a dick, some stars and a lightning bolt, a smiley, as well as the word "FOK U", "AKAB" and "161".
