Professional look for Saturday of #FantasyCon where we have a morning book launch for Wizards Tower.

Kayla in her “business” dress: flowery green and red knee length dress, medium toast tights, and red trainers because we’re at as convention and need to be in our feet

Kayla in a green, black, yellow, and red flowered dress, wearing a gold necklace with a silver heart pendant, and rose gold framed glasses with pink highlights.

Kayla smiling while showing her eye makeup: black eyeliner with a slight wing, dark green on the lower fold of her upper eyelid, and pink-red on the upper fold. Red lipstick completes the look.

LobbyCon at #FantasyCon 2026 was in full swing as we left after dinner, but we just made a circle through once and headed back to our hotel room. We have to be up extra early because we have a 9 AM book launch.

Main lobby of the Crowne Plaza Glasgow on the Friday evening of FantasyCon, with many of the con members enjoying themselves.

And number three at #fantasycon - this time about the 40th Anniversary of Labyrinth!

A photograph of a page of five pencil sketched busts. On the top left is a light skinned person with shoulder length hair pulled back from their face. They are wearing glasses and have a round face. They are labelled "Siân O'Hara". On the top right is a light skinned person with long curly dark hair, facing to the left and glancing towards the viewer. They are labelled "Katie Bruce". On the middle left is another light skinned person with long curly dark hair. This one is smiling widely. They are labelled "PS Livingston". On the middle right is a light skinned person with thinning, wispy hair. They have a round face and are smiling gently towards the viewer. They are labelled "Gary Couzens". At the bottom of the page is a bald, light skinned person. They are wearing glasses and have a faint gesture at a beard. They are labelled Paul Frankl.

Second panel at #fantasycon - we dropped in on this one on a whim and it ended up being super fun! Soundtrack of our minds:

A photograph of a page of four pencil sketch busts. On the top left is a light skinned person with short almost spiky hair, and dark eye makeup, labelled Z. Badowska. On the top right is a light skinned person with short slightly floppy dark hair, and a square face, labelled Allen Stroud. On the bottom left is a light skinned person with shoulder length light wispy hair, wearing glasses and big hoop earrings, labelled Catherine Cavendish. The final sketch on the bottom right is of a light skinned person, with long straight dark hair labelled El McInerney. There is a note on the side of thr page that reads "Soundtrack to your mind."

Will be reading my Halloweeny Lake District faery market story shortly in the Hebrides room at #FantasyCon - hope to see you there?

The #Fantasycon map has rooms called Staffa, Shuna, Jura, Barra, E.B. The programme has "The Flame Tree Room", "Panel 2" and "Panel 3". How do those link to one another, does anyone know? (Is there a con Discord I should be asking on or a Bluesky account I should post to?)
