Applications close on Saturday 31st October but talks are offered on a ‘first come, first served’ basis so don’t delay! If you have applied to Reunion previously, you will need to reapply for this academic year. For any enquiries, email [email protected]

- Are you eligible for Reunion?
Take a look at the Reunion page on MyUEA before applying to make sure you are eligible. Please don’t contact your sixth form or colleague until you know if your application has been approved.

“I thought the process was great! The application was clear and straightforward, and all of the instructions for preparing a talk were thorough and extremely helpful; I knew exactly what to do and what to include in my talk. Thank you!” – Hannah, Maths

- Support every step of the way We’re here to support you – from contacting your sixth form or college to knowing what to cover in your talk. We will provide a PowerPoint template to guide you, but you'll be able to adapt this to tell your own personal story.

@ueaenv.bsky.socialOct 6, 2026, 8:45 PM

- Get paid for your story You will be paid for 4 hours of work at £12.84/hour (so just over £50 in total, or £77 for six hours work if you deliver an optional second talk). Unfortunately, we’re not able to reimburse travel costs for Reunion, so we suggest arranging your talk for when you’re home.

- What is Reunion? Remember sitting in sixth form wondering what university would really be like? The Reunion programme pays you to deliver a talk about university life for your old sixth form or college, to help the students there to make informed decisions about their future.

“I thoroughly enjoyed seeing familiar faces and stepping back into old shoes and I think I made a positive impact. It also did wonders for my public speaking.” – Daniel, Sociology

It is 50 years - almost to the day - since I first walked through these doors as an undergraduate. I'm still learning, but the School of Environmental Sciences at UEA gave me a tremendous start! Good luck to all those starting this year... @uniofeastanglia.bsky.social @ueaenv.bsky.social
