Bitterly ironic that one of the key texts on the political function of the modern lie was written by the Franco-Russian Jewish philosopher, Alexandre Koyré, in 1943. (English in Contemporary Jewish Record, '45). The other key thinker being Hannah Arendt. They are spinning in their graves. 😭
