"One of the successes of our co-op is having multiple voices - even someone with more experience can have an idea that isn't relevant to our audience. We always have to be open to new ideas, from workers and worker-owners alike." ππΌππΌ #WorkerCoops #WCC26

A recent report from @usworker.coop found that nearly three-quarters of worker co-ops identified as women-led and that 42% identified as LGBTQIA+-led. Marginalized folks turn to cooperatives, and have been doing so, for many years in this country.
A major strength of @fertilegroundok.bsky.social is diversity in their biz model, which can be seen in the inputs they gather for compost production... from green waste from local cannabis farms to the 'zoo poo' from herbivores at the OK City Zoo. π¦ #WorkerCoops
@fertilegroundok.bsky.social, a worker-owned composting and recycling facility, has been a member of the USFWC for 10 years, and a cooperative for 14 years! π±π±

Are you in touch with artisans.coop or solidarityecono.my ? Lots of folks are trying to host worker-owned / co-op online marketplaces. It'd be great to pool the tech resources and promote something comprehensive! π‘π‘
