@philsilvers.bsky.socialNEW for 2026! Exclusive Museum baseball caps!
@philsilvers.bsky.socialThe Museum in It's new location has constantly evolved throughout 2026. Displays have been improved on a weekly basis.
So proud, humbled and honoured to be custodians of Phil Silvers legacy!
@philsilvers.bsky.socialNew additions: Contact sheet showing rehearsals for Bilko's Tax Trouble. Bottom image man in black holding papers looks like Phil's brother (& manager) Harry. Fort Baxter map & Phil's photoshoot in his LA condo for his autobiography.
@philsilvers.bsky.socialUsing a screen grab I've been busy recreating the Fort Baxter map seen in Colonel Hall's office. Pretty pleased with the result - would make a great framed print! I like the colour over the b/w, but would love your feedback!
@moiness.bsky.socialReposted by @philsilvers.bsky.socialTrying to explain that to my daughter was fun
@andylaneauthor.bsky.socialReposted by @philsilvers.bsky.socialHelen and I were in there a month or so ago. Not the kind of thing you expect annexed to a Funko Pop emporium. A Funko Pop emporium that also happens to have, nestled in a corner, a replica Paradigm Dalek deliberately scaled down to classic Dalek size...
@jmswallow.bsky.socialReposted by @philsilvers.bsky.socialScenes from Coventry: enjoyed a fun visit to the @philsilvers.bsky.social Emporium, a terrific celebration of the comedy legend behind Sgt. Bilko! 💸🃏👓
@philsilvers.bsky.socialGreat news! The Pentagon have granted permission for our exclusive Goosenheimer t-shirt! Register your interest with Fort Baxter quartermaster Sgt Andy Pendleton! Available in army green, small to 2XL, £25 + shipping and free Bilko badge!
@philsilvers.bsky.socialProud to be featured in the Coventry Visitor Guide in the category 'Pop Culture Icon!' Earlier this year the Daily Mail voted us in the top 12 eccentric/unique Museums in the UK! Us Brits love Phil Silvers!
@philsilvers.bsky.socialSaluting our lovely visitors who've supported the Museum over the last week. As one visitor said, 'It's a wonderfully curated shrine to a great man!'. I'm sure Phil would find it heartwarming his British fans haven't forgotten him.

@hogansalley.bsky.socialReposted by @philsilvers.bsky.socialHanna-Barbera's "Top Cat"--whose influences include the East Side Kids and Bowery Boys movie series and The Phil Silvers Show--premiered on September 27, 1961. It was the second original cartoon series to premiere on prime time network TV in the US. The first episode was titled Hawaii Here We Come.
@philsilvers.bsky.socialWho remembers Karl Howman? He starred in the BBC sitcom Brush Strokes from 1986 until 1991.
It seems the gentleman has impeccable taste reposting our 71st anniversary post and calling Phil Silvers, The Greatest of all Time! Thanks Karl, you're a Top Banana!
@philsilvers.bsky.socialThe Museum now stocks merchandise featuring Bilko's cartoon counterpart, the effervescent and undisputed leader of the pack Top Cat! 2 designs of badges and mugs! More TC merchandise coming!
@philsilvers.bsky.socialTwo new additions to the Museum. My pencil sketch from 2011 and a jumping for joy Phil Silvers from The Jump Book (1959) by Philippe Halsman
with a quote from his autobiography.
@philsilvers.bsky.socialFloating an idea for our next exclusive Museum t-shirt. Based around the classic 1956 episode The Con Men. Doberman gets fleeced sending Ernie into full flight, conning the Con Men!
Comment with a thumbs up if you like!

@philsilvers.bsky.socialWe'd like to thank everyone who visited during Heritage Open Days. Lots of happy faces & it was a delight to welcome Zsófia Hacsek on her first visit & enthusiastic review. It's always an honour to introduce Phil Silvers to a new admirer!
@philsilvers.bsky.socialThrilled to announce the unveiling of 2 new pieces of art. Thanks to the generosity of @jeremy.guy.06 & the supremely talented artist @patrickowsley we have Patrick's pencil and completed artwork on display Thanks Jeremy & Patrick, Phil Silvers would be delighted!
@philsilvers.bsky.socialA big hug to Tracey and Laury for setting the record straight. Phil Silvers did indeed win 2 Emmy's in 1956. Congratulations to Matthew Rhys for his 2 wins 70 years later for Widow's Bay!
