@philsilvers.bsky.socialNew additions: Contact sheet showing rehearsals for Bilko's Tax Trouble. Bottom image man in black holding papers looks like Phil's brother (& manager) Harry. Fort Baxter map & Phil's photoshoot in his LA condo for his autobiography.
@philsilvers.bsky.socialUsing a screen grab I've been busy recreating the Fort Baxter map seen in Colonel Hall's office. Pretty pleased with the result - would make a great framed print! I like the colour over the b/w, but would love your feedback!
@philsilvers.bsky.socialGreat news! The Pentagon have granted permission for our exclusive Goosenheimer t-shirt! Register your interest with Fort Baxter quartermaster Sgt Andy Pendleton! Available in army green, small to 2XL, £25 + shipping and free Bilko badge!
@philsilvers.bsky.socialSaluting our lovely visitors who've supported the Museum over the last week. As one visitor said, 'It's a wonderfully curated shrine to a great man!'. I'm sure Phil would find it heartwarming his British fans haven't forgotten him.
@philsilvers.bsky.socialWho remembers Karl Howman? He starred in the BBC sitcom Brush Strokes from 1986 until 1991.
It seems the gentleman has impeccable taste reposting our 71st anniversary post and calling Phil Silvers, The Greatest of all Time! Thanks Karl, you're a Top Banana!
@philsilvers.bsky.socialThe Museum now stocks merchandise featuring Bilko's cartoon counterpart, the effervescent and undisputed leader of the pack Top Cat! 2 designs of badges and mugs! More TC merchandise coming!
@philsilvers.bsky.socialTwo new additions to the Museum. My pencil sketch from 2011 and a jumping for joy Phil Silvers from The Jump Book (1959) by Philippe Halsman
with a quote from his autobiography.
@philsilvers.bsky.socialFloating an idea for our next exclusive Museum t-shirt. Based around the classic 1956 episode The Con Men. Doberman gets fleeced sending Ernie into full flight, conning the Con Men!
Comment with a thumbs up if you like!

@philsilvers.bsky.socialWe'd like to thank everyone who visited during Heritage Open Days. Lots of happy faces & it was a delight to welcome Zsófia Hacsek on her first visit & enthusiastic review. It's always an honour to introduce Phil Silvers to a new admirer!
@philsilvers.bsky.socialThrilled to announce the unveiling of 2 new pieces of art. Thanks to the generosity of @jeremy.guy.06 & the supremely talented artist @patrickowsley we have Patrick's pencil and completed artwork on display Thanks Jeremy & Patrick, Phil Silvers would be delighted!
@philsilvers.bsky.socialA big hug to Tracey and Laury for setting the record straight. Phil Silvers did indeed win 2 Emmy's in 1956. Congratulations to Matthew Rhys for his 2 wins 70 years later for Widow's Bay!
@philsilvers.bsky.socialChatting with a visitor last week it dawned on both of us the 1996 ill fated reboot with Steve Martin will be celebrating it's 40th anniversary this year! Considering 75% of Museum visitors have refused to watch it, how shall we celebrate?
@philsilvers.bsky.socialA glorious start to @heritageopendays!
'An unmatched treasure trove dedicated to Phil Silvers!'
- Tim, Wolverhampton.
