as a semi-serious answer: since most anime are adaptations of serial media, it will just sand itself down over time to keep running :/ +with isekai becoming wildly profitable, the quality has gotten WORSE b/c people love their potato chips & jangling keys

its "intellectual" competition is solo-leveling or w/e overly long "premise is title" webnovel/lightnovel adaptation is going on anime/manga fans are so starved for ""harder"" media that NOT having it be an isekai or set in a school puts frieren above a lot (this is bad!!!)

this is so disappointingly assembly line/stock acting I would not be surprised if these ARE just some canned animations they've applied here :/
