@joshuastrobl.socialHot off the heels of #Budgie 10.10.3, working on an item for 10.10.4 since we already have some fixes lined up for it.
Automatic hide & dock mode has been...quirky from the move between Budgie 10.9.x to 10.10.x, so this work is intended square away as much of that as possible!
@joshuastrobl.socialI have now submitted for inclusion #Budgie Desktop from @buddiesofbudgie.bsky.social to @aerynos.com 🥳
I fully expect that it will undergo thorough review and there'll be some fixes I need to do (new to packaging for #aerynOS specifically), but we're closer to the finish line!
@joshuastrobl.socialMy understanding is the chunked OCIs used for updates land around or at the same time standard "stable" updates land in Bodhi / into the Fedora repos.
@joshuastrobl.socialWill also be updating my local set of Budgie Desktop packages + deps for aerynOS tomorrow and get that submitted for review!

@buddiesofbudgie.bsky.socialReposted by @joshuastrobl.socialWe're excited to announce #Budgie 10.10.3! It adds favorites to Budgie Menu, brings back the Keyboard Layout applet, lets you choose your primary monitor, introduces free placement of desktop icons, improves our labwc integration, and more.
@joshuastrobl.socialFor the last week or so, I have been secretly cooking up a big change for Budgie Desktop View for the upcoming #Budgie Desktop 10.10.3 release.
Arbitrary desktop icon positioning is finally arriving!

@joshuastrobl.socialOnce Budgie 10.10.3 is tagged, it'll be full steam ahead. We'll be able to add yet another operating system to our Get Budgie page 🎉 More options the merrier!

@joshuastrobl.socialFavorites are FINALLY coming to Budgie Menu in #BudgieDesktop 10.10.3. Great option for those of you that use the legacy / "simple" tasklist 🥳
I'm still polishing up the code, but I'll be submitting it over the weekend and will be in the upcoming 10.10.x release.
@joshuastrobl.socialYea sold out. No surprise there!
@joshuastrobl.socialMe: Clicks email from U.K. Science Museum regarding two new special previews of Dune: Part Three in IMAX 70mm within one minute of delivery Page: 1992 users ahead of you Okay then so probably not getting two tickets unless these are absolutely enormous theaters. Still crossing my fingers though.
@joshuastrobl.socialALL PRAISE BE TO KID3 AND MUSICBRAINZ PICARD 🙌
@joshuastrobl.socialFinally got navidrome set up today. Now comes the challenge of getting a billion and one FLACs. Fortunately 7digital has plenty on offer.
@joshuastrobl.socialBeen binging content from Media Division on YouTube as of late. Insanely good production quality and in-depth videos if you're interested in #cinematography. There's plenty of slop on YouTube and plenty of golden nuggets. This is one of those nuggets. Highly recommended.
