In the latest Construction Management piece from @victoriaceociob.bsky.social there's a reminder of the key points covered in our recent webinar “Building Safety Regulation in a Changing World: Global Lessons for Reform”.
(ICYMI there's a link in the article to the webinar recording.)

Following a busy party political conference season, good to get back in the office - and yesterday we welcomed our Trustees for a Board of Trustees meeting and a chance to meet some of the #CIOB team.
A good afternoon, a great chance to network & talk about some of CIOB’s work.

This is very much a live conversation in the construction and built environment sector: constructionmanagement.co.uk/industry-unc...

My main takeaways: an upbeat conference with some interesting ideas coming forward for industry to respond to, with a focus on growth, skills and regulation. Our Policy & Public Affairs team will now digest all the intel. and opportunities to follow up with parliamentarians and policymakers.

- I was delighted to deliver the opening remarks for The Enterprise Forum Business Reception, at which I was able to present a folder of written briefings from a number of key organisations, including The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), to the Shadow Chancellor Andrew Griffith MP

Did manage to fit in a run this morning - great way to start the day. Saw a few other delegates out running, plus I bumped into Jamie Ratcliff, Chair of the Housing Forum.

Great start to the week – the #CIOB Leadership Team spent the morning at the Houses of Parliament with the Industry and Parliament Trust.
I’ve been to the House of Commons many times but the tour is always special and it’s impossible not to appreciate the history and significance it holds.
