Following a busy party political conference season, good to get back in the office - and yesterday we welcomed our Trustees for a Board of Trustees meeting and a chance to meet some of the #CIOB team.
A good afternoon, a great chance to network & talk about some of CIOB’s work.

Today I had the pleasure of visiting Smithfield Birmingham - fascinating to hear about the vision for a new sustainable neighbourhood that connects people, communities, business & nature, while respecting the heritage of an area that's been a market and meeting place for centuries.

Great start to the week – the #CIOB Leadership Team spent the morning at the Houses of Parliament with the Industry and Parliament Trust.
I’ve been to the House of Commons many times but the tour is always special and it’s impossible not to appreciate the history and significance it holds.

Friday was a wonderful day (and one of my favourite things I get to do in my role) – a day at the beautiful Drapers’ Hall, welcoming 101 new members into The Chartered Institute of Building community.
