The queen of 70s giallo, Edwige Fenech, is stalked on the streets of Vienna by a killer… but is it her husband, her ex or her new lover?
@fwfilmfestival.bsky.social@fwfilmfestival.bsky.social23 October: Behold Paul Verhoeven's The 4th Man - billed as "The first gay, Catholic, horror film."
Don't threaten us with a good time...
@bloody-disgusting.comReposted by @fwfilmfestival.bsky.socialRyan Coogler's THE X-FILES reboot has been officially ordered to series over at Hulu. Himesh Patel & Danielle Deadwyler star. Two FBI agents form an unlikely bond when they are assigned to a long-shuttered division devoted to cases involving unexplained phenomena.
@fwfilmfestival.bsky.socialThere are some things that were just a product of their time... and should probably be left there, otherwise it just looks like a parody.
Saying that... looking forward to Miami Vice '85!
@fwfilmfestival.bsky.socialWe think you mean, they're clashing with us!
But seriously, we love the team up at @celluloidscreams.bsky.social and how they bring the genre goodness to Sheffield and Showroom.
God, we want to see Onslaught...
@fwfilmfestival.bsky.socialWell, there's only one solution. Everyone comes along to European Slaycation and enjoys a bit of giallo, some body horror, an owl cutting people up with a chainsaw and a couple defending themselves against maniacal children and then discusses which is the most horrific over cocktails.
@fwfilmfestival.bsky.social@fwfilmfestival.bsky.socialBristol is preparing for a blood-soaked tour of European horror history as Forbidden Worlds Film Festival returns with three nights of giallo, body horror, psychological thrillers and cult favourites running from 22 to 24 October.

@fwfilmfestival.bsky.socialCan't make it to Sitges?
See the new 4K restoration in Bristol on the Megascreen on 24 October.
@annebillson.bsky.socialReposted by @fwfilmfestival.bsky.social50 Years of Who Can Kill a Child? poster for an expo celebrating cinema's most evil kiddies including Children of the Corn, The Bad Seed and Village of the Damned. (I shall be visiting this expo when I get a mo.)
@fwfilmfestival.bsky.socialReposted by @fwfilmfestival.bsky.socialWe'll be screening Fenech's breakout hit - The Strange Vice of Mrs Wardh - on 24 October at Bristol Megascreen as part of The Big Scream: European Slaycation.
@fwfilmfestival.bsky.socialNot that you should need any excuse to see Dario Argento's giallo masterpiece, Deep Red, on an IMAX screen... BUT if you still needed convincing, here's friend of the festival @realgdt.bsky.social talking about the film's impact and legacy.
@fwfilmfestival.bsky.social10 days to go!
@fwfilmfestival.bsky.socialAnd you can watch it on an IMAX screen in Bristol on 24 October!
@fwfilmfestival.bsky.socialMissed out on seeing Deep Red on the big screen?
We've got you covered... on a bigger screen!
@fwfilmfestival.bsky.socialThere's still time to see Deep Red, The Fourth Man and more on an IMAX screen...
