Oh I love this question. My top pick has been Yuka Kitamura for years. There’s an emotional sense of awe in her compositions that I have always felt would suit Beyond Bringers. I listen to her work while I work.

My neck is incrementally improving day by day but if I dare do something at my desk forgettabouttit

Thank you so much for the shoutout :) 💕

Can I just say how much I love your cover for this!!! It reminds me of late Harry Clarke work and really gets me in the mood for some gothic and/or vampire pieces.

The craned posture and repetitive/constant arm and shoulder movements are really rough on an area you are predisposed to complications with and compression of the vagus nerve (or any nerve really) can cause a whole slew of issues SO INSIST ON INVESTIGATIONS IF UR STRUGGLING

Just putting it out there for other hEDS makers and creators, be on top of your cervical spine health. No one is going to make the connection between compressed nerves/pulled muscles/sprains/etc if you don’t advocate for it.

Thanks though!!!! The little worm in my brain that demands to know things is very pleased!!!

It’s very beneficial to being chronically ill I will say that much but damn.

Got asked if I had a medical degree today… no… my special interest is just how the body can malfunction… therefore and thusly—

Oh my god. Bone. Not love. It’d be fucked up if muscles were yanking on your lobes. Anyway. Peace out.

Bad news if you yank something attached to your occipital lobe. You will be suffering.

Idr if I said but the most likely cause is a severe strain of the splenius capitus and or the levator scapulae, but there’s a lot of referred pain on the right side of my face and my swallowing muscles were also impacted. It has not been fun. 0/10.

Slowly recovering, which is annoying as hell because I have so much to do 🫩 and so little time to do it, but thank you everyone who has sent me well wishes. My neck is slowly on the mend
