@alinapete.bsky.socialReposted by @sandratayler.bsky.socialNo I don't want to review the hotel I stayed at last month I already paid them, I don't want to do homework about it now
@sandratayler.bsky.socialSitting by my firepit and testing the strength of my wifi extender. I have plans to Zoom from my patio during my stay-at-home retreat.
@sandratayler.bsky.socialAnd, as is correct, I end this thread with a photo of a cat taking a nap on the exact sweater I was looking for. (I am wearing a different sweater today)
@sandratayler.bsky.socialI host a weekly co-working session, post bits of writing, try to create discussion around a monthly topic. And (if Year of Creativity funds) I'm hoping to have more virtual hangouts and shared discussion of activities designed to help people be more creative.
@sandratayler.bsky.socialI'll also be doing a membership push for my Patreon to try to secure additional funding for the next year. The income from Patreon is a valuable steadying force in between crowdfunding projects. Also, I love the group of people I get to interact with there. www.patreon.com/cw/SandraTay...
@sandratayler.bsky.socialFor my crowdfunding of A Year of Creativity I'm working in collaboration with a big group of authors who are all funding projects at the same time. There are even some perks for people who back multiple projects in the collaboration. www.backerkit.com/c/events/the...
@sandratayler.bsky.socialThis pre-launch page has some more details about the project. (Apparently I have both a landing page and a pre-launch page?)

@sandratayler.bsky.socialOn October 29 I'm launching funding for A Year of Creativity. If this project funds it becomes the framework for most of the things I do in 2027. I really want to create a shared group experience with this project. This one does have a cost to pay for my time.

@sandratayler.bsky.socialStarting on Sunday I'm hosting a Stay-at-Home retreat. Mostly this is to get me to work on fiction, but I'd love to have people to join me. Trying to be low / no cost. I'm providing meeting links through my Patreon, but using a 7 day free trial is encouraged. www.patreon.com/SandraTayler...
@sandratayler.bsky.socialOver the next few weeks I'm entering a time of promotional push. Here is a list (in thread form) of things you'll see me talking about.

@sandratayler.bsky.socialGood heavens! That book is old enough to apply for college. Where did the time go?
@sandratayler.bsky.socialI love ducks
