The exception is the Haverin launch at 5pm in the Main Hall on Friday. I am really proud of the stories in this collection, and of putting together a community anthology with my co-editors. Hope to see you there, if you're at the con and have a free hour for tablet, wine and buying weird books!
I am volunteering at the art show this Fantasycon, so that rather than on panels is where you'll find me most of the convention this year!
I love my awkward lesbian daughter Mu so much

As someone who plans until they get stuck, then writes until they get stuck, then replans and rewrites until they get unstuck, then writes until they get stuck again, over a few hours a week around work... I think my stories are lucky that the only thing I find harder than writing is not writing
Much writing advice starts from the idea that you either A - meticulously plan everything and then write to the plan B - geniusly improvise the entire story as you go along
ouugh, the document where I put nice lines I have to cut is really getting a workout this morning
I like to pretend I'm savouring it, as if I wouldn't be playing it 24/7 if I could
Come to the launch of the anthology I'm an editor on! It's been a real labour of love from everyone involved to put together over 40 stories from members new and old of our local writers' group.
It has been so rewarding working with local writers - some of whom are having their very first publication - to celebrate my Glasgow SF community as both a group with a long legacy and a welcoming and ongoing meet-up to talk writing and get feedback from other creatives
We interrupt your regularly scheduled feed for a special announcement: "Milton, Morrison & Valentine are delighted to announce: Haverin. An anthology celebrating 40 years of Glasgow SF Writer’s Circle, with stories from members past and present. Coming October 2026." #GSFWC40 #Haverin
