Thrilled to find the cocoon of a Dinocampus coccinellae (parasitic wasp) being guarded by a parasitised / paralysed 7-spot Ladybird in the garden of @wildlifebcn.org HQ.

Only the second time I've seen this!

A red ladybird with 7 black spots, standing over that cocoon attached to a leaf.

This months header winner is Neil St John with this shot all the team loved, of a bittern and sheep at Summer Leys! The team loved this one as it looks like the sheep is a little shocked to have seen the elusive bittern. Well done Neil.

We welcomed Sam Carling, MP for North West Cambs, to the Great Fen on Friday. He met our CEO Brian Eversham and Director of Conservation Matt Jackson at the site of our most recent wetland restoration work at New Decoy Farm and learnt about the importance of rewetting this peatland landscape.
