Bring a small appliance, lamp, electronic toy or kitchen gadget to the free Repair Café at Ace Enterprise Park.
17 September, 12pm to 4pm.
Our member Jeffrey took a train to Clonmel, then cycled towards Waterford, fitting in repair workshops, Linux and radio. A toy was fixed for the Toy Library and three POTA references were activated for the first time.
Dublin Maker 2026 is done and dusted. Two days at Leopardstown, hundreds of makers, thousands of visitors, one very well-attended fashion show, and more soldering irons than any reasonable person needs.
This Rohde & Schwarz ESH 3 was recently donated by Testwall. At our Tuesday Open Night, we found blown fuses, jammed buttons and a power-supply wiring problem.
After some repair work, we had lights and no magic smoke.

New equipment is already being put to good use! Support from the Local Enhancement Programme has helped us improve our public nights, workshops and events. Our gazebos even had their first outing at our recent blacksmithing event.
