@timhardieauthor.bsky.socialA joyous experience watching Pride and Prejudice (Sort Of) at Buxton Opera House this evening. What a fantastic cast! They're on tour in the UK right through until 2027. Highly recommended 👏👏👏👏👏

@timhardieauthor.bsky.socialUrgh. The finish line. So close. So far away. But now one inch closer!
@timhardieauthor.bsky.socialI think I have to 😆
@timhardieauthor.bsky.socialOK. There's a very serious chance Celebrity Traitors may delay the completion of my novel in October. Do I try and fight it, or accept Claudia has me in her grip and it's hopeless?
@timhardieauthor.bsky.socialI'm looking forward to the rest of the series!
@timhardieauthor.bsky.socialIt's about a struggle between humanity and an otherworldly foe who uses sound as a weapon, making silence their only defence.
@emmaladams12.bsky.socialReposted by @timhardieauthor.bsky.socialThe Forest of Stone Kickstarter is live!
This is my biggest epic fantasy launch yet, and the Kickstarter edition of the book is equipped with all kinds of extras that won’t be in the retail version. You can find the details on the campaign page here: www.kickstarter.com/projects/emm...
@timhardieauthor.bsky.socialThat's fantastic! Well done 😁
@timhardieauthor.bsky.socialThe Way of Edan by @philipchase90.bsky.social was such a good book! Epic fantasy done right, the audiobook version is excellent too. Read my full review over on FanFiAddict!

@timhardieauthor.bsky.socialThanks. Closing in slowly. It's gaslamp fantasy.
@timhardieauthor.bsky.socialSix chapters left and I'll have finished the first draft of The Silent Division. My social media accounts will henceforth comprise the slowest countdown ever for the next few days/ weeks/ months as this is my life now. However, the end is in sight!

@timhardieauthor.bsky.socialTime for Celebrity Traitors!
@timhardieauthor.bsky.socialYes, that's right. In 2024 I managed to get the audiobook of my debut funded via a Kickstarter. Happy to discuss further if you drop me a DM @whistberry.northsky.social
@whistberry.northsky.socialReposted by @timhardieauthor.bsky.socialI have long wanted to do an audiobook of one of my books but only if I can pay a human narrator. I wonder if I did a kickstarter type deal if anyone would contribute? 🤔 Have any of you had luck with crowd funding for such a purpose?
@timhardieauthor.bsky.socialOver on my blog this month I've been reflecting on how to deal with the sense of pressure authors can sometimes experience when things aren't going as you'd like. I've found a solution which works for me. How about you?
