Turns out - thanks to some great fact checking by our friends @taxwatch.bsky.social and @taxjusticeuk.bsky.social - the billionaire actually moved to Monaco in 2014.
When our media is owned by the super-rich - are they really acting in the public interest, or their own?
Earlier this week our member Julia Davies spoke to LBC to squash a widely-reported story that a billionaire had fled the country for Monaco because of “threatened tax hikes.”
Our country is full of talent that isn't leaving anytime soon - as our member Husayn explains. We’re millionaires because Britain invested in us. Tax us fairly so the next generation gets the same chance.
This winter, bills are going to be higher than they were at the peak of the Russia/Ukraine crisis.
We must all be protected from this.
COLA has coordinated a letter, telling the Chancellor and @miattafahnbulleh.bsky.social that universal support is needed.
We're proud to be part of @costoflivingaction.bsky.social and on Tues 13 Oct we'll all be in Westminster, calling for a cost of living Budget.

Sunil Kapur, Patriotic Millionaires UK member and maths tutor, has lived in East London all his life. As part of our community conversations series, he took a suitcase of poker chips to a pub in Wanstead to ask his neighbours how much they think is too much. Watch to find out what they thought.
London: a city of extremes with some of the most expensive properties in the world, while one in five Londoners live in poverty. But what do Londoners think of extreme wealth and how it affects their lives?
Listen to our member Guy Singh-Watson talk about the pride he has for our country - and why Jim Ratcliffe's complaints about the UK just don't wash.
Jim Ratcliffe says Britain is "on the slide" so our member @stephenstroud.bsky.social went on 5 Live to set the record straight.
This country built his wealth. We'd like to see him contribute fairly to it, not talk it down.
Lib Dem conference just voted to name the super-rich's grip on money and media a threat to our democracy.
We're off to Brighton today to push the conversation further at our fringe event with @bobbywdean.bsky.social @petergeoghegan.bsky.social and Tanya Park

Patriotic Millionaires member @stephenstroud.bsky.social met up with Granby Four Streets CLT co-founder Hazel Tilley in Toxteth, where we joined local residents to discuss how extreme wealth was widening inequality in Liverpool and their own lives.
Hello Liverpool - the next stop on our 'conversations about extreme wealth' tour. Here, child poverty is higher than the national average, and if you live in a deprived area, you can expect to live 15 years less than someone in a more affluent one.
