The D.C. Board of Elections tossed out $16,000 in fines that had been levied against Janeese Lewis George’s mayoral campaign, rejecting claims from campaign finance regulators that she had impermissibly coordinated with local unions ahead of the June primary.

In ward after ward, we heard the same thing: Childcare is much too expensive in DC, and it's hurting families. Universal affordable childcare is one of my top priorities, and I'd love to hear your ideas for how we can achieve it together.

Good jobs are the foundation of a strong economy. Today, I met with our union leaders to talk about how we govern together to ensure DC residents have access to high-quality jobs with good wages and good benefits. When we fight, we win!
