This is a win for all the neighbors who have been calling for an end to business as usual and a land giveaway to a developer the District is actively suing.

I was honored to join this morning’s memorial unveiling for two Ward 5 victims—Sara Clark and Asia Cottom of the former Bertie Backus school. May their memory inspire us to love our communities well and foster the change needed for peace.
