@leticiaasu.bsky.socialIt also means our love language is sending each other videos and articles about fungi, crafting cute miniatures and weird recipes.
@leticiaasu.bsky.socialMy books have never been officially banned, but a woman did complain about my first book, Las Criaturas, to the mayor of our town when a bookseller was selling them at the farmers market because she said it looked "demonic." So that's fun. Support authors whose work is being challenged or banned!

If you are disabled or chronically ill (or a caregiver), this article that I wrote for @thesicktimes.org is not necessarily about rapid response, but parts of it may be relevant.

@leticiaasu.bsky.socialReposted by @leticiaasu.bsky.socialMy fall schedule is filling up fast but I still have some room in my schedule for readings, author talks and other events, including virtual class visits.
@leticiaasu.bsky.socialThank you @kwelijournal.bsky.social for sharing my story ❤️

@leticiaasu.bsky.socialIf a friend says, "you know what I was just thinking about?" I will be sat and waiting patiently because my friends have the most niche interests and fun knowledge!
@leticiaasu.bsky.socialHaven't had a story or piece accepted since January and gotten quite a few rejections. Hoping the energy turns around soon.
@leticiaasu.bsky.socialReposted by @leticiaasu.bsky.socialIt's October-eve, and this time of year has me oscillating between the coziest of cozy books and the most weird, gruesome reads and I wouldn't have it any other way.
@leticiaasu.bsky.socialThe fatigue and lack of focus is real this week.
