ECPMF’s Monitoring Officer @obefintlig.bsky.social met with a delegation of journalists and media workers from Arabic-speaking countries at HTWK Leipzig as part of a German-Arab exchange led by the Goethe-Institut. Discussions covered media freedom monitoring, the role of data and TNR.
A platform documenting attacks on journalists was itself targeted. On 1 October, our Mapping Media Freedom was hit by a DDoS attack. Access has been restored and our work to document press freedom violations across Europe continues.
