#Lithuania: The EFJ joins the EBU in urging the Prosecutor General's Office to keep its inquiry into LRT necessary and proportionate, and not to seek information that could expose sources or unpublished investigations. Editorial decisions belong in the newsroom.

#Turkey: EFJ, @ifjglobal.bsky.social and @tgs.org.tr call on X to stop blocking journalists' and media accounts without a court order.

In September, 1,270 accounts were blocked in Turkey. Only 115 had a court decision.

Blocking these accounts means blocking the public's right to know.

#Slovenia: We stand with our Slovenian affiliates SNS and DNS ahead of Sunday's referendum on abolishing the RTV contribution. Scrapping it without a guaranteed alternative puts RTV Slovenija's independence at risk and goes against EMFA.
