For me, that means allowing kid clutter/ some mess, cooking something that is already on rotation and allowing people to come as they are. The connection is more important than appearances/ perfection.

@kellireef.bsky.socialWhen I worked retail, being late was not acceptable and if you were late more than a handful of times you got fired. Same for food service jobs.
@kellireef.bsky.social#WeekWithoutDriving having a flexible job is a huge privilege & makes being a non-driver more accessible. While there are certain things I must be at on time/ in person, much of my work can be done on my laptop or phone. If I miss the bus I can still take a call while I wait or check email.
