Holy shit, it worked. hahaha. At 5pm it let me buy them. Six hours. I feel bad for whoever was in charge of the ticket sales system today. Someone buy them a drink. My kid squealed and jumped up and down when I told her.

We need to ditch these computerized ticket sale systems and return to our cultural roots: A violent mob charging the door at Walmart the way god intended.
Hahahahaha. I finally got through to the "You are now in line" page at 12:11, so an hour and 11 minutes of server errors. It says there are 33,127 users in line ahead of me. Hmmm. Something tells me this isn't going to work.
Oh boy, the site is still spitting 504 errors an hour after tickets went on sale. Scalper bots are nothing new, of course, but I wonder if people are sicking their "AI agents" on the poor Benaroya site. Torturing the poor web admins like a temple full of keese.
"You see, honey, a ticket bot is like a ReDead but for website-hosting computers. It screams really loud and makes everything else stop moving. And unfortunately, Banaroya Hall did not learn the Sun's Song."
Modern day parenting means having to explain to your child who is learning how to play Zelda songs on her ocarina that we couldn't get tickets to the Zelda symphony because bots crashed the Benaroya website.
Gotta add jalapeños to half my next batch of cookies.
Before becoming a parent, I liked Jalapeño flavored Tim’s Chips because they tasted good. But now that I have a kid I know the real benefit is that I get to eat the whole bag.
I spilled my very blood for this cause.
Remember when Altman said he couldn’t imagine parenting without AI? I feel that way but about fruit leathers.
I had a dream last night that someone found and posted a video of a younger me drunk and riding a bike that was on fire through a field. I did not remember doing this, but everyone on the internet was really mad at me for being irresponsible about fire safety. “This is how brush fires start!”
My phone decided to show me a photo memory from this day three years ago when I took a photo of my positive covid test. Ah yes, good times. Thanks for the trip through memory lane, phone.
If we were really mean parents, we’d pack her leftovers in her lunch for tomorrow.
BREAKING NEWS: Scientists discover the smallest known mass in the universe after studying the bite my child just took from the home cooked dinner @kellireef.bsky.social made her.
“No results from your search” is itself very valuable information.
