@mattdoyle.bsky.socialReposted by @futi.liveUsing @futi.live graphics to try to illustrate how Wilfried Nancy rewrote the MLS meta. Changed it from a deep-lying, long-ball league into the build-from-the-back, possession-dominant league we've got now.
Most influential coach in league history.
@sixonefivesoccer.comReposted by @futi.liveWe talked with @futi.live’s @johnspacemuller.com about what makes soccer such a hard sport to quantify, his goals with the Futi app, and what the data says about Nashville SC.
@futi.liveFuti's player ratings compare players as different as Cherki and Rice by summing the goal probability added by every touch and then scaling it against their data-derived tactical role.

@futi.liveOkay fine we’ll give him a headshot.
@tutul.bsky.socialReposted by @futi.livePerhaps calling up #6 on the list can be on the docket next time
@futi.liveProbably won't be his last USMNT start.
@jeffrueter.bsky.socialReposted by @futi.liveNEW: We're verging on a mass debut event for the USMNT, with 13 uncapped players in camp. Cavan Sullivan is far from the only reason for excitement about the next generation.

@johnspacemuller.comReposted by @futi.liveRyan doesn't mention it here, which is fair because it's four games against Curacao or whatever, but the only two people to drop a 99 overall futi rating at the World Cup were Lionel Messi and Florian Wirtz The guy can still play soccer I think
@futi.liveFuti's in ESPN again today, in @rwohan.bsky.social's column on Florian Wirtz.
