This is such big news. This book was a labour of love, built with endless passion on a shoestring. And now our wonderful Scottish translators and writers are sharing the company of Ian Rankin, Val McDermid and many of Scotlandās greats.

I am absolutely thrilled that a story from TĆ¢igael: Stories from Taiwanese&Gaelic, co-edited by @willbuckingham.com and I, and published at @windandbones.com has been included in the Edinburgh City of Literature's Six Minute Reads!
Congratulations Elissa Hunter-Dorans and translator Lisa MacDonald.
Honestly what a weird nation we are š¤£š¤£šš
Also: plastic washing up bowls that don't fit the size of the sinks properly. An absolute disgrace and the most inconvenient thing.

Working from home scenes today, including my line manager.
Absolutely thrilled to see some of our @windandbones.com titles at the Frankfurt Book Fair on the Publishing Scotland stand!

Itās been a horrible time and extremely stressful to be around an extended family who, unable to process their grief, lash out in their suffering and cause harm to themselves and others.
A small offering. It was my nanaās funeral on Monday. I just love this poem by GF Dutton. I took this photo on my way to the crematorium and the weather was uncannily warm for England in October. The leaves are quite green for this time of year, but they are beginning to fall.
Exciting! We can spy three Wind&Bones books in these photos šø š
