If you grant the complexity of the issue & demonstrate bans don’t help, you can reach some.

@hollybfletcher.bsky.socialThere are some short term strategies that can be tried, but the real key is equipping the 20% of non-MAGA white evangelicals to vocally and courageously communicate a pro-democracy message on the foundations of white evangelicals' own way of thinking and believing.
@hollybfletcher.bsky.socialAre they pretty immovable? Yes. Because their voting behavior is rooted in their longstanding, mainstream theological framework. But I don't think we are getting out of this authoritarian moment with at least trying to reach them.
