you're welcome

You should buy a Switch 2 because it will help you recognize that you are old and that death is near. This is because you will find that Mario Kart World is just too damned fast and that MK8 for Switch 1 was the apotheosis and society is now going downhill and everyting was better in the olde days

I had (roughly) similarly scathing things to say about the NDP's fiscal management in another interview. I will post when that's available. Both major parties seem fiscally reckless. BC's finances are on a horrible trajectory. We need a 180° change. We need some serious options. I see none.

Geez I thought I was rough on the BC Conservatives deficit-blowing tax cut promise today. Then I saw my colleague David Duff's comments! On reflection, I think David is correct.

I swear I've never seen worse graphics than during the DS games. The scoring bug takes forever to update, and has often put up the wrong pitcher. Here is Max Fried with Schlittler's stats. Are they letting AI run the graphics or something like that? Boo. I miss Sportsnet's production!

Padres-Brewers late-night game yesterday was honestly one of the best baseball games I've seen in a long time. That whole series has been great.

Icing on the cake was this Blink 182 bit.

(How can Delonge now look so old when I'm still so young....wait....oh darn.)

lol at Canadian political parties trying to do Mamdani things except they're missing the key ingredient to doing Mamdani things which is Mamdani.

Also, Xander Bogaerts with the Matrix moves to avoid the ball and the spinning bat shards while running to 3rd base....that was an awesome play. Great game so far.

Jase Bowen. A+ faces. Too bad he didn't come up with it!

"The Yankees are absolutely tragic defensively here in Game 2" --> this delivered me enough of a warm glow to last the entire winter, I think.

Hello! I have received 6 media requests today about BC election policy. I'm afraid I can't do them. I have some time on Thursday / Friday this week but until then I'm busy with the day job here.

The Canadian Tax Observatory has done a careful analysis of the "Productivity Mega Deduction."

This is a consequential change to boost productivity-enhancing investments.

The analysis highlights design decisions that will determine its effectiveness.

For the past week, I've heard a lot of people say "provincial and municipal elections happening at the same time is confusing, especially since I don't fully understand what a city is in control of."

So, I did a four minute explainer piece to try and help
