@edwinatwork.bsky.socialAbsolutely do funding drives. Don't make it a passive campaign like FA+ but something that happens once or twice a year. There is 100% some non-profit furs out there who I'm sure would be happy to lend there expertise.
@edwinatwork.bsky.socialVolunteering can also led to networking opportunities (which is not the point of volunteering, but is great when it happens).
@edwinatwork.bsky.socialVolunteer work can be a way to fill in gaps in your resume. Some industries expect you to have volunteer experience (e.g., non-profit) and it is sometimes expected for upper level jobs (Director or above).
