Hooray! The videos, handout pdfs, and collage slides from the Anthrocon furry fiction showcases are now available!
Thanks to @tempowrites.bsky.social and the @furryfilmburrow.bsky.social for hosting the videos on their channel! #FurryWriting #FurryLit #Booksky
It's so much fun so far! I was surprised by how much I read today. Was having too good a time to put it down.
I will add it tonight!
I'm about 100 pages in. Good book so far.
I should have known better than to assume that a murder mystery book by @unstablebill.bsky.social would have the victim simply be found with a knife in their back or something. #FurryLit #Booksky
At my local grocery store, a 12 pack of canned soda is $12 now, but an off brand 12 pack is $4. It's crazy how enormous the gap between brand name and off brand pricing is right now. Not sure what that's about.
Robot Resources, an experimental retro horror/self-help visual novel, is out on Itch. Spooky, short (15 minutes), free, play on your browser, and includes sold advice for building a resume.
It's #FurryBookMonth and there are a bunch of sales going on! I've put together a list of all the deals I've found for your shopping pleasure. Enjoy! <3

I'm halfway through Dreams of Refugium and will definitely be reading Ephemeris after.
A Foggywere Review of Koa of the Drowned Kingdom by @thependrake.bsky.social from @furplanet.com audio book acted by @khaki.dog here baddogbooks.com/product/koa-... available here in physical format furplanet.com/shop/item.as...
It's more enigmatic than most furry scifi, so it's a lot more mysterious and allows the reader figure things out for themselves. Was kind of a breath of fresh air in that regard, which is ironic since it clearly draws from an somewhat older tradition of enigmatic scifi.
I'll give them a pass if this was minutes before McDonalds stops serving breakfast.
He has some of the most complex motivations I've ever seen in a villain as well, but that's spoiler territory.
There's a character called Knoskali in Theta by @sashafox.bsky.social. He's a capitalist/feudalist/authoritarian nightmare who appears for like two scenes and then proceeds to haunt the rest of the narrative. I've rarely seen a villain be so effective with so little page presence.
Dunkin coffee is so acidic I suspect that if I spilled some in my car it would burn through the floor like that scene in Alien.
I'm a student of furry fiction who has a penchant for bringing about the end of humanity. Nobody in my stories will stay human for long, and their transformations will have a lot of thematic significance to resonate with readers. Also I'm a dog. People love dogs. Woof.
Book 2 is a such a thrill ride that takes the story to greater heights. I think I enjoyed it even more than the first.
At the Home Depot I used to work at, the employees told stories of these two guys who literally pried the doors open at 10:58pm demanding that a massive sale of lumber they'd ordered be loaded up for them. The staff was apparently forced to stay for *hours* after closing.
I'm planning on doing the dishes tonight. Might finally put away the laundry too.
Birb reveal! 🦅
Oh that is simply too adorable.
