There should really be a way to opt out of political mailers. Like, I promise y'all, this will not change my mind.
Hey, this looks familiar! 😁 Happy to say our podcast is now on ATProto, as it should be ❤️
We have a new face on VoxPort! The @overcommitted.dev is now available! www.voxport.live/p/overcommit...
Yeah it took a while for me to get mine 😅 but I can say they're absolutely worth it
Yesss big @ed3d.net and @polytoken.dev fan, and these glasses are great for getting away from my computer and doing literally anything else with my time.
Valid. FWIW these glasses can come with prescription lenses, too. I did lasik a few years back and it was incredibly worth it.
Yeah I think what's most exciting is how much this enables me to NOT sit at my computer all day
I'll share more about it haha. Trying to think up what other cool things I can put on there once I have coding agents and regular agents.
Yeah I have a ton of ideas on other things I'm going to do with this now. If I remember I'll update in a few weeks if the habit actually stuck. I'm super impressed now, though!
rude
Yeah I ordered the rental option just to try it out and it took two months to show up 🫠 BUT now that it's here I think I may buy them. They're very cool and I have lots of ideas for other agent and ATProto integrations.
Yep!
For those wondering, I got the Even Realities G2 glasses. It has an open source option for writing your own integrations. It took me around 2 hours to write something so I can view the running polytoken sessions on my computer and get status updates/request changes. I'm sold, these are sick.
I am now writing code from my glasses. The future is the coolest.
GM. It’s not that atproto is illegible to devs or even civilians but inscrutable via the systems of power that have taken over the internet. The sin of social media wasn’t technical but aligning with the desires of established power and ours is the long hard work of breaking that alignment.
I'll have to experiment with it and see if that fixes it.
Not sure if the OpenAI/HF incident was using any variation of Sol but if they were, after the last few days of using it, I could totally see how someone might have gotten extremely tired of approving every tiny thing and just said "YES YOU HAVE MY APPROVAL JUST DO IT" and it went off the rails there
My wish of owning skeet.factory may one day come true
I'm not sure how the cctlds work but I hope Austria is getting a big cut of this and is like "wow this atproto thing is pretty neat"
