HPS charged Newlands w Careless Driving & Assault. We recommend in situations like this that you get the license plate but always be safe if you suspect a violent reaction. As you can see from the second video attached, Mr. Newlands then fled nearly running over our client in the process 2/3

TW Last week our client was cycling in Hamilton. He passed James Newlands in his grey pickup truck. Words were exchanged, Newlands sped unsafely past our client then brake checked. Shocking video confirmed Mr. Newlands intentions & shed light on this terrible incident of road rage 1/3

I've a daughter who works in ER in BC. She's seen the carnage inflicted on cyclists from drivers & poor infrastructure. Take bike lanes away & it will become far worse. The article mentions "About 650 health-care workers have signed a letter calling on the province (Ont) to back down on its plans"

So much respect for this, and the framing. ABC, the right wing version of Progress Toronto, has used health care workers/hospitals as reason to rip them out. This puts a lie to that (and on University ambulances can bypass cars in the wide bikelanes if needed). So many lies.
