@benedictanning.bsky.socialReposted by @philipasuggars.bsky.socialHighlight of today's Fantasyconning - chatting nonsense on the 'How Weird Can Weird Fiction Get?' panel earlier with the fabulous @mkhardywrites.com @joannacorrance.bsky.social @philipasuggars.bsky.social and Geoff Dupuy-Holder ✨👻

@philipasuggars.bsky.socialAm I only the only #autistic man of a certain age that feels as though David Mitchell’s character in Ludwig is an autistic man of a certain age? (I know it’s generally inadvisable to diagnose fictional characters, but I feel l seen.)
@philipasuggars.bsky.socialVery much looking forward to this coming out.
@philipasuggars.bsky.socialOo that is exciting!
@philipasuggars.bsky.socialSFWA went through a something similar, but seems to be pulling out of it(?), hopefully HWA will do the same.
@philipasuggars.bsky.socialSo much to enjoy in this panel.
@philipasuggars.bsky.socialIt is my humble opinion that one of the most asinine innovations of online culture is the “hot take”. Rough translation: I’ve got no fucking clue what I’m talking about, but my ego is such that I’m unable to override my need to have an opinion, however uninformed, about absolutely everything.
