@raineer in the 90s, a friend of mine and I decided we should bring back the "two martini lunch." Problem is two martinis in the 90s was probably equivalent to 8 in the 50s, and no one has ever heard of an 8 martini lunch for a reason.

@soaproot @wayword Hold on here: the opening of that episode talks about things being soooo /something/ (how /something/ are they) as being a Johnny Carson bit but I remember it as a Match Game bit. So did Gene Rayburn get it from Carson, vice versa, or did they both get it from someone else?

tl;dr: dark mode / light mode should *always* default to following system setting in responsible design. This should be true of web *and* desktop apps. Also, #avidProTools can get bent.

Those (lens?) artifacts around the brightest light source to the right are mesmerizing. I don't remember noticing them before — must have something to do with moisture in the air or on the lens or something. Very cool.
