๐โโ๏ธ so, what are the git forges you are using - or want to be using? asking for โฆ reasons. (would appreciate sharing for reach)
I can still remember the last time he asked like that ๐
That's amazing, looking forward to see you there. Definitely come find me ๐
Vienna next month. ๐
HalfStack is a day of people showing what theyโve built, trying things that seemed like a good idea, meeting curious web people, and hanging around afterwards.
Plus the JS Pub Quiz and karaoke. ๐ค

In 3 weeks, I will be at @reactadvanced.gitnation.org, talking about the challenges we have with a growing codebase at @sentry.io, how these got worse with more volume due to AI and how we try to fix it.
Hope to see you there for my talk "Scaling Frontend Codebases for Humans and AI" on October 23!
took me that long to get my domain verified ๐
I honestly only signed up to bluesky after I got the invite code to "secure my username". That didn't age well ๐
It might be doable for checkboxes because they have distinct values but for other controls, you lose information if you don't have a readonly control, like a slider where you also get min/max. So for consistency we also have e.g. disabled toggle buttons
Great stuff for a talk btw how things being designed 7 years ago are still used but don't necessarily support modern patterns and need re-thinking ๐ก
๐
@ephem.dev is on it ๐ฅ
current things are mostly cleanup and internal rewrites for better hydration. Suspense is a beast ๐
What would you like to read more about (blogposts) or hear more about (conf talks) regarding TanStack Query? Looking for inspiration โจ

Updated this post to reflect the completely predictable result that ~30% of the 100 top English-language content websites are now using Google's Prompt API for browser fingerprinting, Google Advertising profiling, or both.
The purpose of a system is what it does.
Also this: > Issues and pull requests opened by agents or bots without a person who reviewed them and stands behind them. Very important. We can all use agents ourselves if we want to. The value add is a human on the other side having a real problem that they want to solve
LinkedIn must be right I guess. Time flies. Oh, and weโre working on @tanstack.com Query v6. Iโll post a public roadmap soon. Coincidence ? I think not ๐
The only idea I have right now is to throw more AI at it from my side, which doesn't feel like the right approach. But getting 5 slop PRs for open issues is not great when it's not even proven that the issue is valid :/
