Here's fully converted from Raycast to its alternative Tinycast and got my first PR in. OSS is great 🐬
It's going to be our human intuition to judge their good intentions. Let's see how this goes :)
Tbh I don't see an issue with the _occasional_ dump from an agent. Often better than copy-paste and lose formatting. I use github.com/webpro/skills/blob/main/skills/review-prose/SKILL.md for that sort of copy for readability.
Yes I've done that occasionally with Slack, e.g. only the RCA or some summary/overview to win time and to spare others the gibberish I would write. And with a clear text indication (that it came from Claude), which should be obligatory.
Fwiw the Knip one's at github.com/webpro-nl/kn... — just say "no wall of text" 🤡
Different people, different priorities. Different project, different rules. Walls of text are annoying for sure, but I feel like that's the low-hanging fruit solved easily. In a chatbox you should def know if you're talking to a human or not, that feels odd.
That sucks. It's sometimes hard to navigate for sure.
The human must stay in the loop, such a shame in too many cases the overall experience is ruined these days. I'm positive it'll be better. We should first and foremost take care of ourselves before we can help others indeed 🫶
While I totally get most folks don't like it, I can just read through it and see if there's value for the project or not. Knip got better for it lately and I welcome anyone to prove me wrong, show me slop that got merged. Note that I've also rejected plenty.
