Don't agree re Trussonomics. The core bet is that voters tire of high taxes and not much to show for it. I dont think its enough either but i do think the decision to prioritise goign after comfortable southern centrist votes will carry its own logic
well its based on an economic view - but I agree the neuralgia over Brexit makes it much harder
Indeed- and I think I did note that though the electoral system can work for them in this. The core point for me is the decision to try to reclaim the more liberal Tories first as a prelude to showing they are the most viable alternative to Labour. But a lot of ifs in all that for sure
What a shame - is there a new logo in mind?
Or a new market for expensive flats

Thank you
Thank you
Timing is everything. The Labour Party has waited nearly 20 years for the type of leader Andy Burnham revealed himself to be this week, someone who could bury Blairism and still look like a winner.
If Reform did something like this with mosques we might think they were a bit racist.

And here's UK chief political commentator Robert Shrimsley's take ...

But was this good growth or bad growth?
Should have gone to Specstalkers
Labour, and the country, need a Callaghan moment. Bracing column by @robertshrimsley.bsky.social:
No 25pc is not enough especially with anti reform tactical voting
Perhaps but it is will also cost votes the other way. temperament I guess, always double down
