@kristenfuhs.bsky.socialReposted by @alexgibneyfilm.bsky.socialSaw MUSK by @alexgibneyfilm.bsky.social yesterday, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. It’s not a portrait - it’s specifically about power: how he got it, and how he’s been able to maintain it. And it’s riveting.
@bromeliaceae13.bsky.socialReposted by @alexgibneyfilm.bsky.socialAnd that was quite an experience! Congrats to @alexgibneyfilm.bsky.social on making nearly four hours of Elon into a compelling documentary.

@alexgibneyfilm.bsky.socialI don't believe them. That's what the film is about.
@alexgibneyfilm.bsky.socialThere is a 10-minute intermission. A launch "countdown" intoned by yours truly.

@alexgibneyfilm.bsky.socialFilm opens in NY & LA tomorrow, 10/9, and nationwide on 10/16. It's a dark comedy that turns to horror. :-) Worth seeing in a theater. Also contains key election info. BTW, the song that David Byrne wrote for the film - "Let Me Sell You a Dream" - drops as a single today on Matador Records.
@alexgibneyfilm.bsky.socialThe women in "Musk" are extraordinarily impressive.

@whitneycwimbish.bsky.socialReposted by @alexgibneyfilm.bsky.socialThe youngest person his pager attack killed was 9-year-old Fatima Abdullah, who had just started 4th grade. The pager was on a table when it went off and she picked it up to take to her dad. It exploded in her face and reports said it covered the room in her blood. She wanted to learn English.
@alexgibneyfilm.bsky.socialThe trailer for my new film, "Musk," has just been released.
