I am angry tonight. Because tonight ICE shot a New Yorker. They shot a New Yorker while his five year old child was in the car. ICE makes this city less safe. We want them out. Now.

So today marks the 5 year anniversary of Metroid Dread's release, and while I'm nowhere close to finishing these on time (only learned about it a couple days ago), I did start these a little while ago and now seems like a great time to work on them. Looking forward to Metroid Ravenous next year!

Ghost stickers right on the boottocks.

October Dailies 08 While some members of the household are busy putting up the Halloween decorations, others are entertaining themselves with amusing placements of ghost stickers. Fran isn't too pleased about this, but Sam seems to be having fun.

I'm not sure if it's sciatica, a pinched nerve, a problem with my tendons, or something else. Whatever it is, stretches, heat, cold,reflexology, and massage therapy have done nothing for it. My last resorts at this point is the ER and physiotherapy.

Left hip and leg. It started with what felt like an overtightening of the tendons, then agonizing pain, and now feels like a severely pinched nerve. Even the massage therapist wasn't exactly sure what it is. I'm going to the ER today to try and get it looked at.

I've spent the last 5 days with agonizing pain in my hip and leg. I can't sit or stand so I've spent the last week laying on the floor to try and make the pain tolerable. I hoped to make something special for Halloween this year, but if this keeps up I won't be able to manage anything. I'm sorry.

In time a new animation industry will form, by our hand. But it'll have to be different. The CEOs, Executives, shareholders, AMPTP, tech bros, do have to drown along with our ship they sank. When the chips were down, they showed they weren't capable of doing better. They are ontologically failures.

October Dailies 05 Keeping warm by the bonfire. Admittedly it's hard to define this as a "sketch", but a lot of these images are for testing techniques as well, sooo... I probably could've done more with the fire so it's not just a huge mass of flames, but that's something for another time, I think.
