My review of Other Mommy is up at @reelrank.net
Not just a review, a very positive one at that!
This was one of my favorite films in the first half of the year. Let's see what my good colleague Kay has to say about it! ....oh, ohhh no!
π Best of the Best awards are heating up on ReelRank. @pstergos.bsky.social locked in eight all-time picks, and now it's your turn to weigh in on the greatest films of all time.

I forgot to tweet it, but @pstergos.bsky.social published his 1st piece for #ReelRank News yesterday, something I've been begging from all of the RRN #writers: their Best of the Bests
Read it on @medium.com: blog.reelrank.net/theyre-the-b...

Furthermore, my first writing piece on @reelrank.net is about. I pick my favorites of all time in various categories.
The most thought provoking FMV ever.
Yeah, I quite liked it despite its messy structure.
My @reelrank.net #LastFiveWatched is really more #LastFourWatched this time, because Hotel Chevalier and The Darjeeling Limited were really intended as one "experience". #FilmSky
I donβt do #LastFourWatched for #letterboxdfriday, bc Iβve got something better for this:
#Last5Watched from #ReelRank, tho Iβm not sure why it matters, since I only watch Flow over and over again π€·
You could still follow me on @reelrank.net if you wanted: reelrank.net/u/Bo
Cool! That's probably two updates away (3 to 6 months π ). Be on the lookout!
Basically, a user can mark a review a "π’ No Spoilers", "π‘ Mild Spoilers", or "π΄ Heavy Spoilers" in their review. Then you can set it so reviews that are tagged mild or heavy spoilers have a warning and blur over it. You can still read the review, you just have to click through the warning first.
I've been chewing on this comment for a bit. Generally, I don't like to tell people what they can and can't say on ReelRank (as long as it's not a user safety violation). But I had an idea. How would you feel about a spoiler tagging system?
The last of my MCU reviews that was on Letterbox has been moved to @reelrank.net with the third Ant-Man movie.
π¦ @kcookandcatsco.bsky.social hates The End of Oak Street but has one fix that would change everything for the Platt family.
Our latest piece digs into the (anti-feminist?) dino-throwback:

I got into the details of my picks for ReelRank's Best of 2024 RetCon.
Come see me vary wildly between a professional critic and some kind of gremlin.
With the Netflix takeover of #Letterboxd it may be time to explore other options. My friend @iamkaymichelle.bsky.social has you covered!
We said we liked them. We didn't say they were goodβ¦
Tremors 3, 4, 6 and 7 (per the @reelrank.net writers)
For the record, 1 and 2 actually *are* good; 5: Bloodlines is apparently UNWATCHABLE & we do not like or recommend it π¬

My review of Faces of Death 2026 is now up on @reelrank.net
I guess it's probably the best possible version of Faces of Death for the current day. Which I guess means we don't need a Faces of Death for the current day.
