As Mother Jones prepared to publish an investigation about allegations of physical abuse against three women by Ohio Republican Rep. Max Miller, his crisis communications adviser warned @abbyvesoulis.bsky.social that Miller has “many defamation lawyers.”

Matthew Kampert says he gave his elderly dog, Roo, a basic steroid to ease arthritis pain in 2021. The dog died TWO years later, but Larry Zukerman (who has served as Max Miller's since at least 2021) alleged in 2025 that Kampert stole "narcotics" & that they "may have resulted in your dog’s death.”

Also: Miller personally threatened to speak out about an alleged connection (per a civil lawsuit) that Emily Moreno's former lawyer has to a murder case. Miller: "Don’t salivate. I’m smart enough not to be sued for defamation. I’ll wait until this evening. Enjoy the beautiful day outside!!”
