Huge scoop by @nlanard.bsky.social

David Flippo's financial disclosure reveals his deep ties to a company, co-founded by an alleged fraudster, that cut $50K checks to GOP groups that endorsed Flippo ahead of the Nevada primary. And that's just the start! www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

@nlanard.bsky.socialOct 9, 2026, 10:09 PM

A person listed in FEC records as a major donor to David Flippo’s campaign told Mother Jones they did not donate anything to Flippo—let alone the thousands of dollars attributed to them.

That “suggests very serious campaign finance violations."

New: David Flippo’s largest known asset is in a company co-founded by an accused fraudster.

The firm and its associates have funneled hundreds of thousands to Flippo’s campaign and pro-Flippo groups.

I asked Flippo's campaign about the V-shaped emblems on Tuesday. They did not respond.

The hat was first written about here by Nevada News nevadanewsandviews.com/two-valor-pi...

@nlanard.bsky.socialOct 3, 2026, 12:14 AM

The original explanation was that his staff made a mistake by falsely claiming he had a Bronze Star with valor.

Then he and his campaign were asked about Flippo himself wearing a hat on numerous occasions that suggested he earned the award.

As caught by @tabithamueller.bsky.social, David Flippo's website was just updated to replace an image of him wearing a hat veterans say he used to falsely suggest he received a Bronze Star with valor.

The original photo can still be found buried on his site here: flippo4nv.com/wp-content/u...

Every election cycle, there seems to be a stolen valor plot line. @nlanard.bsky.social on the one this time: www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

@nlanard.bsky.socialOct 2, 2026, 9:03 PM

This is from a photo from Flippo's own website that clearly shows two V-shaped emblems next to his Bronze Star. Those emblems are used to signify military awards earned with valor.

And this article from Brittany Sheehan of Nevada News & Views, who first reported on the two V-shaped emblems on Flippo's hat.

Read Dan Merica's original reporting on Flippo's Bronze Star here: www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

@nlanard.bsky.socialOct 2, 2026, 9:00 PM

After it was reported last week that David Flippo's campaign falsely claimed he received a Bronze Star with valor, Flippo said his staff made the mistakes.

The problem? For years, Flippo wore a hat that suggested he earned the award.

David Flippo has reported putting nearly $2.5 million into his campaigns.

He was also named as a debtor in relation to apparent home improvement projects during the period he was loaning heavily to his campaign.
www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

Opening paragraphs of article about David Flippo: On March 31, David Flippo, the Republican nominee for Congress in northern Nevada, loaned his campaign $600,000, according to federal records. In doing so, he massively increased his topline fundraising numbers for a quarter—the last before Nevada’s primary elections—in which he brought in less than $20,000 from outside supporters. Within weeks, Flippo’s campaign repaid him $12,000 of the money he had lent. Two days later, Nevada public records show he was listed as a debtor to a company that specializes in financing home improvement projects. The agreement was collateralized by “FLOORING” at the Flippos’ Las Vegas home.

The financing statement is one of many transactions, detailed in records obtained by Mother Jones, that do not typically fit the profile of an independently wealthy candidate who has reported providing his campaign operation nearly $2.5 million over his past two congressional bids. Adding to the mystery over the source of his funding: Flippo, dating back to his first run for Congress, has failed to submit the required disclosures that would illuminate his personal financial position.

Flippo’s campaign did not respond to a request I sent on September 14 to discuss the missing financial disclosures. The campaign also did not respond to a follow-up that included detailed questions about Flippo’s personal and campaign finances.
@nlanard.bsky.socialSep 28, 2026, 6:39 PM

“The clearest example of that is George Santos.” Why David Flippo’s failure to file financial disclosures is raising red flags for campaign finance experts.

Previously unreported records add new questions about major loans he has reported to his campaign.

David Flippo has reported funneling millions of his own money into his congressional campaigns. @nlanard.bsky.social reviewed loan and financing statements that raise questions about the Nevada Republican's personal and campaign finances www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

New: Nevada GOP congressional candidate David Flippo has failed to file legally required financial disclosures for years.

Previously unreported records raise many questions about the nearly $2.5 million he has reported putting into his campaigns.

Current state of the race to replace Stefanik.

Constantino is being sued for suggesting a fellow conservative may have sent a hitman upstate.

One of 3 friends who attended his wedding was recently arrested for allegedly kidnapping one of the other 2.

Close associates of Anthony Constantino have been accused or found guilty of kidnapping and stealing money from a youth baseball league.

He's also called AOC a "fake bitch" in Spanish and rapped about Mamdani's "boy Osama."

He may soon be heading to Congress.

Constantino emerged on the national scene after building a massive Trump sign atop his NY sticker factory in 2024.

Since then, he's gifted Trump a larger than life statue and released his Baby Shark-like Trump anthem. So far, the plan is working.

Anthony Constantino—a Trump-loving sticker baron, who moonlights as a boxer and rapper—may soon replace Elise Stefanik in Congress.

He's also the guy behind this music video. Read below for the full story on his rise and how it explains today's GOP.
