We've got a fantastic announcement: The Downballot has just released a new version of our one-of-a-kind "hexmap," which shows every congressional district as the same size. @donnermaps.bsky.social has been hard at work updating it for all 10 states with new maps. Check it out here! 🧵
The excellent @fiftyplusone.news has polling averages for 15 Senate races. Since Sept. 1—more or less when the GOP spending spree began—the average has moved in Dems' favor in 11 of those 15.
And even in the four where it's moved right, Dems still lead in all four. fiftyplusone.news/averages#sen...
Donald Trump carried this heavily Latino seat in Texas by 10 points just two years ago, but you sure wouldn't know that from how Republican Eric Flores reacted when Democratic Rep. Vicente Gonzalez put up a billboard highlighting how Trump endorsed Flores.
If you want to see where Roger Marshall sits on the list of top Senate fundraisers during the third quarter ... keep scrolling
Spending was also lopsided in favor of Dem candidates: $574 million to $288 million.
And yet even so, they still had more cash on hand for the final month of the race: $539 million vs. $392 million.
Check out our charts for full #s for every D & R on the Nov. ballot, plus select indies!
NEW: Our complete charts of 3Q fundraising data for *every* race for Congress Some real narrative-busting details: Dems & allied indies smashed Republicans, raising $499 million to $194 million With better ad rates for candidates, this goes a long way toward neutralizing the flood of outside GOP $

Did Michigan Republicans get together and decide that Trump will be gone in two years is the best line they have?
If Colorado Dems somehow manage to beat Lauren Boebert and flip the GOP’s three bluer seats, Colorado Republicans would hold no House or Senate seats for the first time in 86 years
Boebert faces Eileen Laubacher, a former Republican who retired from the Navy as a rear admiral, for an eastern Colorado seat Trump carried 58-40. The congresswoman's notoriety has allowed Laubacher to haul in massive amounts of money for what remains a tough race.
Lauren Boebert was one of the rare high-profile Republicans to back Victor Marx's campaign for Colorado governor in the primary. Now with Marx and Trump dragging down the party, Democrats have an unexpected opportunity to target Boebert in the state's most conservative congressional district.
Sen. Mitch McConnell has nearly $7.4 million to part with before leaving office in January. So far, he’s sitting on it.
This was very likely the only plausible option available to Democrats: absorb the massive spending, pray you survive, then whale on them with whatever you have left at the end. Seeing as the polls haven't gotten worse for Ds (if anything, they keep getting better), it seems like this is working.
The polls are very close in half a dozen key states. A small uniform miss could have a big impact on Senate control. Democrats are a normal polling error away from 54+ Senate seats — or just 50
"The Republican panic is on clearest display at the various political organizations in Washington charged with spending hundreds of millions of dollars on House races."

Democrats four years ago boosted Don Bolduc, a far-right extremist, in his GOP primary ahead of his big loss against Sen. Maggie Hassan. Now Bolduc is endorsing Democrat Chris Pappas for New Hampshire's other Senate seat.
Also, Scott Colom was the funniest candidate we've ever interviewed on the podcast. Worth a listen!
Since #MSSen is having another moment, just a reminder that there will *not* be a runoff no matter what. Full explanation here -->
As important as these races are (and you know I've been bugging you about them!!), it's still wild to see $3 million to $4 million spent on a *state senate* election.
Democrats are on the verge of one-party control of the state of Pennsylvania for the first time since 1994.
It all hinges on the PA State Senate.
A Dem trifecta here would have massive political implications in the state and beyond.

Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna five months after she talked about running for RNC chair: "Sounds to me like some in leadership need to focus on winning races instead of gaming their next steak donor dinner."
