@bmann.caYep! Roughly where I’ve ended up.
@bmann.caYeah I’m working across GitHub, Tangled, and Gitea for different group projects. Plus my own OneDev where I actually have my internal / personal issues. Some sort of meta tracker / notifications is probably what I need for me!
@bmann.caBeans by @hmans.dev seems good as my reco for this category github.com/hmans/beans
@bmannconsulting.comReposted by @bmann.caTimeful is a group availability scheduling app whose hosted version just went free-to-use. It’s also open source and self hostable, available on Github. Looks like a good Rallly replacement.
@bmann.caIt’s kind of an interesting question. Git is a protocol, what is the minimum interface? Issues, workflow elements and “git harness” elements (as well as API shapes) are unique. A pattern of supported plugins + being your own custom adapter?
@philippeserhal.comReposted by @bmann.caThis isn't an answer to "what do you use or want to be using", but for completeness, I've had these brand new forges bookmarked for a while:
- Entire: entire.io/news/entire-...
- Lore: lore.org
- Depot: depot.dev
- Harness: www.harness.io/products/cod...
- open-git: open-git.com
@danielroe.devReposted by @bmann.ca🙋♂️ so, what are the git forges you are using - or want to be using? asking for … reasons. (would appreciate sharing for reach)
@bmann.caYes that’s what I use Paseo for. Sessions across my desktop, home server, and cloud VM. Desktop and mobile client. Opencode is apparently making a mobile app too.
@bmann.caLooks similar to Paseo but I guess more agent team focused?

@bmann.caOh yes I don't doubt it, I'm needing it for things I'm testing right now. Tranquil is a great piece of software!
@bmann.caI would pick either the Bluesky reference PDS (or the bsky pds libraries with a custom wrapper) or Nick's atprotocrates Rust PDS as both are on track to support private data. Tranquil may get there too but I haven't seen anything yet? You're much farther ahead than me, yes we should talk more.
